2 Feeding the
Righteous
God has promised to supply
our needs. In Matthew 6 Jesus repeats this
promise by reminding us how God takes care of
the birds of the air and how much more He cares
for us.
Jesus also instructed us
not to worry about tomorrow because each day had
enough to worry about on it's own. No one
can add a day to their life by worrying.
I can recall seeing this
promise in action. My dad was out of work
and money was tight. On more than one
occasion we would come home to find a bag of
groceries sitting on our doorstep with no clue
who it was from.
This doesn't mean that
things will always be easy but I believe this
verse is good for other things in life as well.
From my observation those who are walking
closely with the Lord tend to have less car
problems, furnace malfunctions, plumbing
mishaps, etc.
This doesn't mean if
you're having those type of problems though that
you must be unrighteous. These things
happen to everyone from time to time. But
we can rest assured that God will take care of
us and will supply our needs. |
