Fruit of Unfailing Love

Love is a fickle thing.  Observe any teenager in their dating years and you will discover how quickly a person can fall in and out of love.

God's love is not like human love however.  God's love is an unfailing love that will not abandon us or disappoint us.  God's love is for everyone but also only for the righteous.

We know that God loved the whole world because He sent His son to die for the world.  But we have a part to play in our relationship with God.  God extended His love to us through His son.  In order to build our relationship with God we must strive to be righteous.

Make no mistake, we aren't capable of living a righteous life.  That is why Jesus came in the first place.  However, we are called to live as righteously as we can.

When we sow righteousness, we reap the benefit of God's unfailing love.  The more we sow righteousness, the more God enables us to live righteously as He showers us with righteousness.  It is cyclical.  When we make the first effort God works with us to enable us to live life the way we were meant to live it.
