Everything New

God loves new things.  Scientists tell us that our universe continues to expand.  What they cannot explain is that it appears to be expanding at an increasing rate.  Not only does this defy the laws of physics as we know them, it completely goes against the theory that the world was created in a big bang.

God is continuing to create and expand the universe.  We don't know why but we'll have all of eternity to find out and discover what God has created for us.

Humanity has been corrupted by sin.  At salvation God has given us a new self and made us into a new creation.  Our bodies will be resurrected as sinless and imperishable as we have hope of a new birth.  And even the city of Jerusalem will be made new.  It will be a perfect place for the people of God.

In the end, every trace of sin will be removed.  Everything that has ever been corrupted by sin will be replaced and made new.  Everything will be perfect as it was meant to be.

When God makes something new, He makes it perfect.  When He makes everything new, it will last and won't be subject to sin or corruption.  Praise God for His wonders and for all the new things that still awaits us!
